NEURMAD@AAAI'25 invites submissions of 2-4 pages for poster/short/position papers or 6-8 pages for full papers papers.

Scope and topics

All papers on topics of neural reasoning and mathematic discovery, both theory and application, are welcome, including but not limited to:

  • Mathematical foundations for neural reasoning of
    • mathematical discovery;
    • System II.
  • Novel neural models
    • with better performance and less data-hungry and cheap-training costs;
    • for high-level rational reasoning, e.g., commonsense reasoning, spatial reasoning, logical reasoning, multimodal reasoning;
    • beyond the statistical paradigm;
    • for reliable AI applications (e.g., explainable, deterministic, safe).
  • Interdisciplinary perspectives of
    • neural reasoning;
    • cognitive modeling;
    • scientific discovery;
  • Industrial demands with case studies of
    • neural- and neurosymbolic- reasoning;
    • LLMs and Foundation Models;

Submission instructions

Papers should be formatted according to the same guidelines for the main AAAI 2025 conference papers and submitted online through Openreview .

Publication

Invited talks and selected papers are invited to extend to a book chapter published by World-Scientific in the beginning of 2026.
